These strategies are:

1. Use Photos to have visual impact:

Take photo album or Baby books, which shows large images of family members, animals or fruits etc. Point to the photo and take their names. Involve your baby in your conversation and do small discussion with them.

2. Repetition:

When you interact with your baby, take their name more often while doing small activities like when changing diaper, bath time or while feeding and playing. When we take his name regularly in conversation, it will start clicking in his mind.
3. Different Tone: Changing tone also do magic some times. Use different tone, when calling baby’s name. You can use singsong voice or you may show excitement while calling his name. it will help to get better attention from your baby and they will respond soon.
4. Practise it without distraction: Sometimes babies are too busy with their toys they don’t notice your voice. There is already too many noises that makes it hard for them to focus on you. So, take baby in quiet room. Give him a toy to play with. Notice him for a while and then take his name to see if he will respond it or not.
Play What’s your Name? game, and take your baby’s name slowly and clearly. Over the time you will see baby will take his name before you answer. Keep in mind, some names are easy to pronounce then others. So, if your babies name is lengthier try to take nick name until his speech is not fully developed .
